The Tyndall AFB FamCamp has 91 RV sites, 56 of which are full-service (water, electric, sewer, and cable) 36 partial service (no sewer). 3200 sq ft Recreational Building equipped with game room, wide screen TV and DVD. This facility comes equipped with Internet connection for your lap top convenience. We offer social events: Bingo, movie nights, card tournaments, ice cream socials, pancake breakfasts, Christmas and New Years parties, and pot luck gatherings just to name a few. We offer a beautiful screened in Gazebo equipped with an open fire for hot dog roasts and newcomers “get to know your neighbor” gatherings. Children can enjoy outdoor activities in our playground equipped with swings, slide and sandbox fun located adjacent to the Recreation Building. We have three beautiful two- bedroom cabins with living room equipped with a queen size pull out sofa bed (cabins sleep six). The cabins are fully equipped with full kitchen and bath, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Remember to bring your own linens. Enjoy daily walks through our 1.5 miles interpretive trail. Learn about the habitats of the surrounding area, while enjoying a leisurely walk through an ecosystem paradise. We also offer a “doggie” walk area. Remember that all pets must be on a leash at all times.

Base Parks:
Assortments of picnic pavilions along the bay are available for use at Bonita Bay Outdoor Recreation Complex, Tyndall AFB. In addition, we offer two parks, Heritage Park located by the base hospital and Felix Lake in base housing. Each area houses playgrounds, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits for your leisure activities. In addition to picnic fun at Felix Lake, you can enjoy a hike through our 1.5 mile interpretive trail, fish from the dock of this beautiful fresh water lake, and perhaps sneak a glimpse of our 13 foot alligator known as “Billy Bob.” For our cyclists, you will enjoy several miles of bike trails along the Felix Lake area. 7 Center console boats can accommodate up to 5 passengers and 11 passenger pontoon boats can be reserved along with skis, wake or knee boards, and inflatable tubes. For private boat owners, we offer a rental slip area large enough to host 6 boats at a nominal monthly rate at Bonita Bay Outdoor Recreation Complex, Tyndall AFB.

Free fitness swim is offered three times per day, seven days a week from May-Sept. Swimming lessons and water aerobics are also available.

Bonita Bay Outdoor Recreation Complex, Tyndall AFB, offers storage in the RV storage lot, and housing for your horses at the Tyndall Riding Stables. Practice target shooting at the Skeet & Trap range or with your bow at the archery range. Dry storage for small sailboats is located right on the bay at Bonita Bay Outdoor Recreation Complex.
